The Michigan Bar Examination is as much a tradition and institution in our state's practice as is the native practice of using your right hand to show others where you live.

For one, we have our own grading service for the essay portion of the exam though the Board of Law Examiners. Two, we require a lot legal knowledge and Michigan specific law from our candidates. Finally, we have an appeal process that actually gives you a second bite at the apple.
